SOME MINOR CHANGES BEING MADE TO PENNY START AUCTIONS!

This month has seen a couple of minor changes take place in the popular PENNY START AUCTION promotion being sponsored and held at PHEEBAY.com. Penny Start auctions are being held on several eBay alternative auction websites around the globe. All auctions have been starting on Sundays .... are listed for 1 penny with no reserve and no buy it now .... and prior to this month ended the following Sunday. Any item offered also was to have a value of at least $20. This month it was decided to attract more sellers and buyers that items could be listed for 7, 10 or 14 days in order to allow more self-promotion and items could be worth $10 or more so that more people might be able to participate at a lower risk. All items must end on Sunday..... and 0ctavias0fferings Squidoo Lens for PENNY AUCTIONS is still the hub for this promotion. You can still join in by going to PHEEBAY and signing up in this FORUM THREAD.

I currently have running two MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR AUCTIONS. You can click on the words below the pictures to go directly to the auctions. One is listed on MilBid and the other is listed on eBid.US. Adamx8, Mommyto3, Flyleaf and Rainbowseeker Antiques are participating in the PENNY START AUCTIONS promotion being sponsored on PHEEBAY.com. They all sell on the MILBID.com site, which supports our men and women in military service.

Their ID’s and four stores on MilBid.com are Mommyto3 (Andrew & Alyssa's Bargain Basement & Adrianna’s Silver Mine, Rainbowseeker (The Rainbowseeker MilBid Shop), The Flyleaf (The Flyleaf) and Adamx8(Adam's Military Collectibles). MILBID, where they sell has been supporting this promotion since it began back in Oct. This is the first listing since Thanksgiving and items were listed this past Sunday, Jan. 4th and will run through Sunday, Jan. 11th. All items are offered at NO RESERVE with a 1 cent opening bid. The small alternative sites participating in the promotion are trying to show people that there are other bargains available on line in other locations than eBay.

A very successful promotion sponsored by the people at http://www.pheebay.com/ continues for the 5th week in a row. Each week begins on Sunday with sellers from several eBay alternative auction sites offering a piece of merchandise valued at $20 or more with a starting bid of just one penny. The auctions run Sunday through Sunday and are open to any seller on any auction site. The items are sold with no reserve and there are no "buy out" or "buy it now" prices allowed. These are straight auctions and the items sell for the final bid. I have been participating in this promotion from the first week on two different auction sites....eBid and MilBid. So far I have sold all but one of my items, and all for reasonable prices. I am extremely happy with the traffic my items have received in my stores and to the individual items as well. Several people have signed up at both venues to bid so the sites are getting new members from these sales too. Even when the item goes for a bargain I consider the traffic being generated from these sales cheap advertising. And the buyers getting bargains have a very good chance of returning to buy from me again because I know they will be pleased with their items and my service. This is a WIN WIN situation for the sellers, buyers and the eBay alternative auction sites. Well worth consideration if you are a professional seller or site owner!

You can check out my offerings for this week below. The first is a lovely jewel encrusted 1st LADY EAGLE PIN. This comes in it's original box and has never been opened or worn by the previous owner. It was purchased from the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION in 2002 for a total price of $48. I checked on line and this pin known as the 1st LADY EAGLE PIN is still being offered to non members at the price of $50.
